寳貝上學記！

经过多番的搜集，我们最终让Jamie报读这间幼儿园。不为什么只希望他能学习多点东西，多参与群体生活。5月3日是寶貝第一天上幼兒園的大日子相信也是全國為父母者的大日子！我与老公还特地请了一天假陪他上学。犹记得儿子第一天上学很兴奋，他不像其他新学生靜靜地坐在一旁，也不敢亂走動，他一到课室就急忙找玩具玩，要我们把他拉回坐位。第二天，我尝试离开他，于是躲起来偷望他。儿子发现我不在就大哭了。。没办法只好陪他到放学。接着下来的几天我都躲起来不让他看到我，起初也是哭一下子，慢慢地就习惯了！老师还说他很乖巧！今天我陪他一下之后就回家了。老师没拨电给我，那表示他已开始习惯了！好不容易等到放學，馬上搖身一變高興得像只剛從籠子放出來的小鳥，回復活潑的一面。

Penang Trip With Crazy Gang

上个星期六与Ex同事去了一趟槟城。我们一行共有11人分乘几辆车出发啦！这一次的short trip我们没带儿子去，在去槟城的前一晚他留在家公家婆那，说是要看看他习惯吗。。

到了槟城check-in了之后我们就去Komtar附近吃Asam Laksa & Cendol,蛮好吃的！

下午我们就在Batu Ferringi 的沙滩逛逛，看看夕阳。沿着沙滩走就到Hard Rock Hotel

晚上就去相熟的餐厅用餐，好好吃的西餐！之后又去Gurney Drive 吃小吃！这一趟槟城游该吃的都吃了！

第二天Check-Out之后我们去极乐市神庙拜拜，也见到了很壮观的观音神像！拜拜之后我们就去买一些土产就拜拜槟城了！

回到家当然是第一时间去接儿子，哈，儿子很高兴见到我们。。家公家婆说他昨晚半夜突然起床，哭着找咪咪！我们在想阿，有可能是之前我们Video Call他，他才会卦念我们的。

9号那晚汉尼与儿子来接我放工,在车上汉尼趁我不注意给了我一盒东西。。SURPRISE!!!! 原来是Swarovski的项链！！！Love it Love it!!

13号是我的农历生日，14号是正日！我与汉尼已说好要过二人世界，所以儿子就交给家公家婆照顾。。我们先在11号那晚去了一间我们的’御用意大利餐厅‘ - NeroVivo@ Bukit Ceylon, KL。价钱是贵了点，但不错吃！回到家时，儿子见到我们回来了，他开心到。。。

在正日那晚我们一家3口就去了Tenji Japanese Buffet Restaurant,Solaris MontKiara. Normal Day去有便宜，而且我们去了JOGOYA几次，so这次就尝试这间。Normal Day Dinner 的价格是88++，第二位是28++，儿童免费！便宜到。。。。

新加坡逍遥游！

3月23日我们去了新加坡。这一次的旅游大家都玩的很尽兴！在出发前我们为儿子办理了他的护照，原来12岁以下儿童的申请费是RM150 - 5 年，挺划算的。呵呵呵。。，带我家少爷去拍照，他以为是去剪头发，结果还大哭一场！他最怕剪头发，哄哄他才肯拍。就这样花了大约2-3个小时就搞定了。到了JB回娘家休息，我还准备了一些MUFFINS给家人尝尝。

第二天就出发了！真要感谢我的弟弟载我们到五姨家。我的五姨还特地为我们做了几种蛋糕给我们。嘿！不错吃！
我们的第一天行程是去Orchard Road逛街！吃东西买东西。。第二天就去了Sentosa玩，我与五姨还进去赌场。可怜五姨未进场就先交S$100。。最后一天的行程，我们去了一间Lunch Buffet 'Vienna International Seafood & Teppanyaki Restaurant' 大吃一餐！直到傍晚时分弟弟来接我们一同回JB，我的娘家。五姨还制作了一个Pandan Cliffon Cake让我带回JB给妈妈，我一共带了3种不同的蛋糕回去。
这一次的逍遥游真的很开心，幸好我家少爷没闹没耍脾气！也很感谢五姨对我们的照顾&充当导游！还有弟弟充当司机载我们进新加坡，回JB。

炸年糕

新年时买了一个年糕，心想不如今年尝试炸年糕吧。我喜欢吃 3 in 1 的炸年糕+芋头+番薯。于是就用春卷皮来炸。。因为我的年糕‘很黏’结果炸出来有点粘粘的。。但口感还不错的。嘻！

爱上了烘培的我，这次尝试作了香蕉奶油蛋糕Banana Butter Cake ！因为儿子爱吃香蕉，所以才会去尝试制作。成品超赞！我也送了一份给家婆。没想到家婆给我的评语是：‘哗！你可以去开餐厅了！’ 因为家婆看到我很会烹调‘住家饭’，其实是我没饿坏她的儿子&孙子，再加上我会烘饼干，蛋糕的。。。我的心暗爽到。。。家婆的这翻话，无形中像是一支强心针！

这份是送给家婆的。这份是留给我们一家3口别被它的外表吓坏！

内里软软。。扎实。。QQ的不错吃。。配上汗尼的Caffe Latte。。赞！

我的拿手玛纷 - Chocolate Muffin

每次看到博客的烘培成品，真让我大流口水！心动+手痒，终于去年在Jusco败了E牌的烤炉& Electric Mixer。Muffin是我烘培的处女作。首先是尝试作巧克力muffin，接着又作了cheese muffin。成品让我很满意！这也增加了我对烘培的信心！于是就心血来潮，制作了这巧克力muffin送给家婆。

Guardian的动物公仔

终于给我换到了Guardian的动物公仔！！不过我是用20张stickers换的；( 因为我很少到Guardian购物的。正巧这次是动物公仔，心想可以换个给儿子。之前还在想要换什么动物，今年是虎年，那不如换TIGER吧！唉。。。问了几家都没有tiger。。最后。。。决定了！我们换长颈鹿。小瓜拿到手，还玩得不亦乐乎呢！

又是时候update我的blog啦。今年是婚后的第3个新年！除了办年货&大扫除,今年我也开始自己做年饼。另外，我家的久‘杂牌’电视已经向我们发出警告！！！迟不坏早不坏临过年才来坏！所以也购买了一部新电视！旧的就搬去儿子房间给他看他的最爱'Barney'DVD！现今的小孩真好命！
这些是我败回来的年饼材料。

分派给家婆&亲戚的年饼。今年是第一次做年饼！有点担心做得不好吃。

年初一我们会去老公的婆婆家拜年&吃斋。碰巧今年年初一是西方情人节！我与老公&儿子去了STARHILL - JOGOYA庆祝！老公也送我一份礼物。

按传统，每年新年年初二我会回娘家。今年也不例外，由于老公的亲戚都是在KL的，所以他很喜欢去我的家乡- 彭亨，我的父母都是来自彭亨但不同新村。日利谷新村Kampung Jerkoh, Benta &双溪吉流新村Kampung Sungai Krau。在新村过年真的很热闹！

年初四我们就南下JB，年初七人日，我们在家BBQ&吃火锅。

我实在是太久都没update我的blog了！
之前在忙工作&照顾儿子，所以没时间写blog。好吧，就由今天开始写blog!
儿子一天一天的长大，我也开始注意了他的营养摄取，再加上儿子偏食，老公是肉食。。。我们总不能要天天外食。所以阿，我就天天上网寻找食谱，努力在家烹煮！老公儿子对我的厨艺赞赏，是我的满足！
其实我也喜欢制作糕点&烘培，上个月买了一个烤炉 ELBA EO 35L来试试！结果我的第一尝试是CHEESE MUFFIN，第一次做，用错面粉，结果味道怪怪的！第二天我再尝试，结果成功了！老公还拿了几个给同事吃！接着我又尝试做了CHOCOLATE CHIPS MUFFIN！

14日是我的大日子，老公还特地买了一个芝士蛋糕，要我在12点时吹蜡烛，结果切了蛋糕之后才发现少了1只蜡烛。哈哈。。。

吃过早餐，我们便去逛街 [我的最爱]，一整天就吃东西买东西还满累的，晚餐就光顾了一家意大利餐馆，东西还满好吃的.

阳光与沙滩

趁着我的生日，我们一家三口去了 Langkawi Berjaya Beach & Spa Resort 玩了三天两夜，去享受阳光与沙滩！我家宝贝可是第一次搭飞机，哈~~还蛮Enjoy的。宝贝也是第一次去沙滩，他阿，玩到几开心，还晒到像黑炭这样。唉，我的白马王子晒黑了。

LETTER FROM PEDIASURE

I received a letter from Pediasure today, enclosed has a set of 6 recipes, consisting of both nutritious main meal and dessert. 3 Main Meal: Chicken Char Siew, Sneaky Burgers, Easy Satay and 3 Dessert: Chocolate Bread Pudding, Chocolate Muffins Peachy Jellies, Strawberry Smoothie, Banana Smoothie. Wah! all looks great!
Jamie has consumed Pediasure since 1 yr old, he is not a picky eaters, he is just doesnt like to drink milk and he is losing weight thats worried us. Since i try Pediasure, i can see that he is more healthy & gain weight too!

正当我停放好车后，前方有一个手持巴冷刀的马来歹徒正朝向我，指着我的颈叫我别叫喊，另一个歹徒则抢走我的水晶手链(或许他以为是金链？)和搜看我颈。我已吓呆，赶快把车钥给他们，我说我有宝宝在车后，我要抱他出来，幸好他们允许。然后他们很快的上车尝试开车，我已经抱着儿子快速的向前跑。就在这时我听见很多叫喊声，我意识到是有人前来追捕歹徒，不过被他们逃跑了。我赶紧安抚儿子，怕他受惊吓，幸好他没哭。接着我通知家人，老公也从公司赶回来及陪我到警局。歹徒的巴冷刀留在车上。
真是不幸中的大幸，我们没任何受伤及损失！谢天谢地！

When will my baby start getting teeth

The vast majority of babies sprout their first teeth when they're between 4 and 7 months of age. An early developer may get his first white cap as early as 3 months, while a late bloomer may have to wait until he's a year old or more. (In rare cases, a baby's first tooth is already visible at birth.) Whenever the first tooth makes its appearance, celebrate the milestone by taking pictures and noting the date in your child's baby book.

Teeth actually start developing while your baby's in the womb, when tooth buds form in the gums. Teeth break through one at a time over a period of months, and often — but not always — in this order: First the bottom two middle teeth, then the top two middle ones, then the ones along the sides and back. They may not all come in straight, but don't worry — they usually straighten out over time.

The last teeth to appear (the second molars, found in the very back of the mouth on the top and bottom) have usually begun coming into place by your baby's second birthday. By age 3, your child should have a full set of 20 baby teeth, which shouldn't fall out until his permanent teeth are ready to start coming in, around age 6. What teething symptoms will my baby experience?
Experts disagree about whether teething actually causes symptoms — like fussiness, diarrhea, and fever — or whether these common symptoms are not related to teething at all and just coincidentally appear at the same time as emerging teeth. Regardless, many parents maintain that their teething babies do experience discomfort (though some babies get through the process with no problems at all). The symptoms most likely to trouble a teether include:

• Drooling (which can lead to a facial rash)
• Gum swelling and sensitivity
• Irritability or fussiness
• Biting behavior
• Refusing food
• Sleep problems

Though many parents report that their babies have loose stools, runny noses, or a fever just before a new tooth arrives, most experts don't think teething is to blame for these symptoms. One who does is William Sears, pediatrician and author of The Baby Book. Sears believes that teething can cause diarrhea and a mild diaper rash because your baby's excessive saliva ends up in his gut and loosens his stools. Inflammation in the gums, he thinks, may cause a low fever (under 101 degrees Fahrenheit).

On the other hand, child development experts such as Penelope Leach assert that teething cannot cause fever, diarrhea, vomiting, or loss of appetite and that these are signs of illness that should be checked out. Noted pediatrician T. Berry Brazelton says such symptoms are probably due to an infection unrelated to teething, but that the stress associated with teething could make your child more vulnerable to infection right before a new tooth appears.

The one thing experts agree on is that you should call your child's doctor if your baby has symptoms that worry you or a rectal temperature of 101 degrees F or higher (100.4 degrees F or higher for babies younger than 3 months). The doctor can help determine whether your baby is showing signs of a problem that needs medical attention, like an ear infection. If your baby has loose stools — but not diarrhea — don't worry. The condition will clear up on its own. What can I do to ease my baby's discomfort?
Give your child something to chew on, such as a firm rubber teething ring or a cold washcloth. If your baby is old enough to eat solids, he may also get some relief from cold foods such as applesauce or yogurt. Giving him a hard, unsweetened teething cracker such as zwieback to gnaw on is another time-honored trick. (Avoid carrots, as they can be a choking hazard.) Simply rubbing a clean finger gently but firmly over your baby's sore gums can ease the pain temporarily, too.

If these methods aren't working, some doctors recommend giving a teething baby a small dose of children's pain reliever such as infants' acetaminophen — but check with your doctor before giving your baby any medication. (Never give your baby aspirin or even rub it on his gums to ease the pain. The use of aspirin in children is associated with Reye's syndrome, a rare but potentially life-threatening condition.)

Rubbing the gums with topical pain relief gel is also an option, but you may want to ask your baby's doctor before trying it. If you use too much, it can numb the back of your baby's throat and weaken his gag reflex (which helps prevent him from choking on his saliva). The gels are generally safe to use, but in rare cases can cause an allergic reaction.

If drool causes a rash on your baby's face, wipe, but don't rub, the drool away with a soft cotton cloth. You can also smooth petroleum jelly on his chin before a nap or bedtime to protect the skin from further irritation.

Growing Teeth

Today we finally saw a white tooth just popping through his gums, we are so excited and waited so long...finally, it has some result. Jamie is so happy and enjoy biting the biscuit.

Jamie showed the signs of teething at about 4.5 months, he was chewing like crazy and drooling all over the place but didn't break his first tooth until he was 7.5 months old. He also had severe discomfort, fevers, and measles. It is a miserable experience for the poor baby.

We are happy that Jamie has recovered from his fever and bring him to shopping today! hmm...Jamie has loss weight ler..he is now a 'pai gu jin' [Mandarin]. okok..as long as he is healthy. My goodness, today I’m 27 years old. How did that happen? Where did the time go?
